Monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headset preferences vary wildly and are easy to upgrade later. Putting the full budget into the tower means a stronger machine that won't bottleneck a future display upgrade.

Compatibility is checked at a high level (CPU socket, RAM type, PSU wattage). Always confirm the specific motherboard supports your chosen CPU model, RAM speed, and BIOS version before placing an order.
A complete first-time build also needs a monitor (~$150–$400), keyboard and mouse (~$30–$150), and an OS license (~$0–$130). Plan for these separately on top of the tower cost.
