Note on AMD GPUs

AMD RX 6000 and 7000 series GPUs have a TJ Max of 110°C, much higher than NVIDIA. Don't panic if you see 85–90°C on an RX 6700 - it's designed for it.

Laptop vs Desktop

Laptop GPUs run hotter by design due to confined cooling. An 83°C reading on an RTX 4070 laptop GPU is normal; the same on a desktop card warrants investigation.
